Dalton and Madison met in the spring of 2016 in the back bar of the Chatham Squire, where Madison was working as a waitress at the time. Dalton was visiting a college friend on Cape, who brought him to the bar where Madison was working a particularly long and slow shift.

Dalton was looking to spend the summer on Cape, and was hoping to get a job in the area. Madison introduced him to the head bouncer, who offered him a job then and there. They soon started working together and became good friends. They spent the summer together, and come fall, Dalton had decided to make the move to the west coast with that same mutual friend who introduced them. Madison was looking for a change of scenery, they were looking for a third roommate, and on a whim, she decided to take a leap of faith and move to San Diego with the two of them.

They spent the year in California as roommates, and became the closest of friends over that year together. Once their lease was up, they decided it was time to move back home. Fast forward 5 months, after spending the winter on Cape together, they realized how inseparable they'd become, and they realized their close friendship had developed into something more.

They began dating, moved in together almost immediately, and never looked back. Over the last 6 years, they've called a few different places 'home', done a fair amount of traveling, adopted a couple of pets, and are currently living in Harwich with their cat, Beanie and their dog, Moe.

On August 10th, 2023, Dalton proposed in Boston after Madison returned from a girls trip in LA. They can't wait to continue to evolve and grow as a couple, and are excited to see what this next chapter brings as husband and wife.
